Programme Outline


This course delves into the intricacies of key monitoring activities to be put in place under a firm’s system of quality management. It also explores adopting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to enhance operational efficiency for the monitoring activities.

Participants will gain a deep understanding of quality management principles, monitoring methodologies, and practical implementation of RPA tools. The course is designed to equip professionals with the skills to drive organisational excellence through effective quality management practices and automation solutions.

Programme Facilitators

Ms Fua Qiu Lin

Ms Fua Qiu Lin is Divisional Director of Members and Stakeholders Engagement at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). In her role, she oversees the Institute’s engagement activities to support the various member segments as well as engage key stakeholders such as the government agencies. The division also supports the small and medium-sized audit practices through initiatives to drive quality, digitalisation and growth. Her prior portfolio in ISCA includes professional standards development & advisory and quality assurance. She was a member of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) Working Group which supports and contributes to AFA’s efforts in supporting adoption and implementation of international standards and best practices in the ASEAN Member countries.
 
Ms Fua has audit experience in Big 4 as well as mid-sized accounting firms. She is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.

Mr Daryl Aw
Mr Daryl Aw is the founder and managing director of Skybots Pte Ltd (Skybots). Skybots provides automation solutions for accounting, audit, tax, corporate secretarial and finance processes, helping companies in their digital transformation journey. These solutions involve using analytics, RPA and AI tools such as ChatGPT to automate tedious and repetitive processes for companies to successfully achieve significant productivity gains.

He was previously a lecturer in Singapore Polytechnic leading the accounting faculty in RPA and Sustainability projects. He was the lead in Strategic Partnerships in leading collaborations with SAC, ISCA and NCSS.

He has overseen the implementation of more than 100 robots for more than 300 organisations. In 2021, he emerged as the champion at the ISCA RPA Hackathon. In 2022, he was nominated for The President’s Awards for Teachers.
